Warner Bros. will close three in-house studios, while cutting off the Wonder Woman adaptation, which will focus on IPs such as Harry Potter, Mortal Kombat, DC and Game of Thrones.

Bloomberg first reported that Monolith Productions, the development of "Midearth: Shadow of Modo" and "Shadow of War" will be closed, and its developed game "Wonder Woman" will be cancelled.The game has been in development for four years and has consumed at least $100 million.

Warner Bros. then issued a statement to foreign media Kotaku, confirming the news.

We had to make some very tough decisions to build our development studio around building our main series of games – Harry Potter, Mortal Kombat, DC and Game of Thrones – andInvest to create the best games.
