Valve recently announced through a Steam announcement that its third-person shooting action competitive game "Deadlock" will undergo major changes to the map.

V社《Deadlock》地图进行重大改动:从4条线缩少至3条

This hero shooting action game similar to MOBA gameplay such as DOTA2, each game of "Deadlock" takes place in the same huge map with 4 lines. Each line has a common defense tower in MOBA, and the player will eventually need to destroy the local base to win.

Among the latest changes announced by V Club, the biggest change is that the original 4 paths will be reduced to 3 in traditional MOBAs.Unlike traditional MOBA, the game has 6 “heroes” on each side, rather than the usual 5.The game used to be split 1-2-2-1, but now there will be no single-player roads, and there will be 2 players in each team to fight against each road.

In addition, the update includes other major changes to the map, such as updated visuals, changed building layouts, routes, neutral (wild monster) camps, vents, destructible items, enhanced gains, temporary points, intermediate bosses, and more.

In order to allow players to understand and adapt to these changes faster, VS has also added the "Explore Map" function to the game, allowing players to move around and explore in cities without enemies outside of battle.

Interested players can go to the official Steam announcement to view the full details, or enter the game to experience it yourself.Interestingly, DOTA2 has also received a 7.38 update with huge changes in the map recently, and the map designers of V Club are probably very busy recently.

"Deadlock" is completely free to experience, and is still in the early stage of testing and is an invitation-based system, so you need to invite other players who already have games in the library to add it to the library.
