Survival MMO game Dune: Awakening will be released on May 20, 2025.Funcom has published an article before that revealing more information about the game.

This introduction mainly revolves around aerial vehicles, focusing on "sturdy but bulky transport aircraft" that allows players to transport harvested spices.The development team said the transporters were even able to transport other vehicles, including "ground vehicles, and even other flapping aircraft."

In the official chat channel, the developer also confirmed that the game will include air combat.Funcom said in response to a fan-related question: "The flapping aircraft has multiple optional modules to make and install, one of which is a rocket. It can help you deal with other flapping aircraft in the sky, or annihilate the desert walkers who steal spices deep in the desert. Like other weapons, players need to manage ammunition, so make sure your flapping aircraft is fully armed before entering the battle."

Dune: Awakening has opened the Steam page and offers free character creators and hardware performance testing tools.The game will support Simplified Chinese and the price has not been announced yet.
