However, Take Two's boss Strauss Zelnick is not worried that AI-made games will be very popular in the gaming industry - and he thinks so, not just because no games can compete with GTA6.

Strauss shared his advice on success in the gaming industry in an interview with Carolyn Dailey for her book The Creative Entrepreneur, saying: “Be the most creative person: that is, hire the best creators, and insist on following their passion. Encourage them to try new things, stay away from spin-offs and imitations. In Hollywood, the common way to market products is ‘This is a combination of Spider-Man meets Batman and Back to the Future’… but we don’t do that; we want something you’ve never seen before.”

Strauss Zelnick insists that the biggest hits in all media (fields) are "unexpected", and because generative AI is built on the achievements of truly talented and creative artists, he believes that AI can't create any hits.

"That's why I'm not worried about AI creating hits, because it's built on data that already exists. It's looking back. Big hits looking forward, so they need to be created out of thin air. Being most creative doesn't just mean thinking outside the box, it means that there's no so-called 'box' at all."

It is worth mentioning that Musk is betting heavily on AI and set up an AI studio to try to use AI to create 3A games, "making games great again."
