Sony today announced that starting from April 16, 2025, the PS Plus full-level membership subscription prices will be raised in 15 Latin American countries.Countries involved include: Argentina, Bolivia, Chile, Colombia, Costa Rica, Ecuador, El Salvador, Guatemala, Honduras, Mexico, Nicaragua, Panama, Paraguay, Peru, and Uruguay.

Sony explained that the price adjustment was due to "changes in the global market environment" and said that the price increase will help "continue to provide high-quality gaming and value-added services to PlayStation Plus members."

The new price applies to all new users in the above countries and existing members will start executing the new rate in the next settlement cycle.The specific price adjustments are as follows:

According to the calculations of affected users, the annual fee increases are: PS Plus basic version (Essential) rose by $10, PS Plus upgraded version (Extra) rose by $14, and PS Plus premium version (Deluxe) rose by $18.It should be noted that the premium version is not the PS Plus premium version (Premium), but an alternative solution provided by Sony in areas where PS3 cannot be streamed, and the cost-effectiveness is relatively low.
