Previously, Ubisoft was sued by two California players for stopping the server of "The Cool Car God".Recently, Ubisoft's lawyers responded to the lawsuit, emphasizing that players only buy game licenses and that they have never really owned a game.

Ubisoft’s legal team has applied to California court to dismiss the case, which stressed that the client has enjoyed the offer and has made it clear when purchasing that they were buying a license.The lawyer also said that since players have been playing in the game for many years, which is equivalent to "having obtained transaction returns", they cannot recognize their fraud charges of "the game is off-server and lack of offline mode".

It is worth mentioning that Ubisoft added offline modes to "Courtes of Cool Cars 2" and "Courtes of Cool Cars: Roaring Ceremony", but did not add offline modes to "Courtes of Cool Cars".
