RTX 5060Ti 16 games tested: Grating performance average is 11% slower than 3080

The RTX 5060Ti performance evaluation was unbanned. Foreign media TechSpot used 16 games to evaluate the 50 series' level 60 graphics card, and compared the previous generation of 40 Series' level 60 graphics cards.

TechSpot compares RTX 4060 series graphics cards, including the RTX 4060, 4060 Ti 8GB and 4060 Ti 16GB, and TechSpot considers these to be the most disappointing versions of recent generations of GPUs.Although the performance improvements of the RTX 4060 series graphics cards compared to their predecessors, their success can be largely attributed to the lack of real competitors – AMD’s Radeon RX 7600 is just as bad.

The RTX 5060Ti (16GB version) is even worse than the RTX 3080, which is two generations apart. The 1060 of that year is comparable to the previous generation flagship GTX 980

TechSpot also strongly criticized Nvidia:

“Nvidia will release a new RTX 50 series GPU with only 8GB of video memory in 2025 – not just one, but two. In other words, this is a remake of the 40 series: the 5060 is equipped with only 8GB of video memory, while the 5060 Ti is available in 8GB and 16GB versions.

Nvidia, however, chose to hide the 8GB model from reviewers.There is no ban on RTX 5060. Although the 5060 Ti review went online last night, the 8GB graphics card review will hardly appear.Nvidia cannot give a satisfying or even logical explanation, and reviewers will not receive an 8GB model.Although Nvidia denies trying to suppress the review of the 8GB model, we know they are doing it.“

"Marvel Contest"

Starting with the 1440p resolution Marvel Contest, the 5060 Ti is significantly faster than the 4060 Ti.We expect its performance to increase by 20%, comparable to the 7800 XT and RTX 4070.

At 4K resolution, the 5060 Ti is 29% faster than the 4060 Ti, and again the performance is similar to the 7800 XT and RTX 4070.

Counter-Strike 2

In Counter-Strike 2, the 5060 Ti's performance improvement at 1440p resolution is quite impressive, with a 24% increase, with an average of 398 frames per second, making the 5060 Ti roughly the same as the RTX 4070 and RX 9070.

At 4K resolution, the 5060 Ti is slightly slower, but is still 25% faster than the 4060 Ti, although 14% slower than the RX 9070.

Star Wars Jedi: Survivor

In Star Wars Jedi: Survivor, at 1440p, the 5060 Ti is able to match the 7700 XT at 66 fps, 16% faster than the 4060 Ti.

At 4K resolution, the 5060 Ti drops to just 31 fps, an 11% improvement over the 4060 Ti, again offering comparable to the 7700 XT.

"The Legend of Plague: Requiem"

In 1440p's "Plague Legend: Requiem", 5060 Ti is 17% faster than 4060 Ti and only 6% faster than 7700 XT.

At 4K resolution, the 5060 Ti is not capable of native rendering, although performance will be significantly improved after upgrades.Even so, it still offers comparable performance to the 7700 XT, a 23% improvement over the 4060 Ti.

"Cyberpunk 2077: Shadow of the Past"

The test results of Cyberpunk 2077 are consistent with what we have seen so far.At 1440p resolution, the 5060 Ti has a frame rate comparable to the RTX 4070 and 7700 XT, both at 79 fps.

At 4K resolution, it leads these models, 38% faster than the 4060 Ti – which clearly shows that improved memory bandwidth does work.
