The wave of layoffs within EA is still continuing.Recently, EA told foreign media IGN that they have canceled the Black Panther game and closed the developer Cliffhanger Games.EA has also laid off some other teams, and the specific number of layoffs is unknown.

EA Entertainment President Laura Miele revealed in an internal employee letter that the Black Panther game was cancelled.She said the decision to cancel the game project and close the studio was necessary to “focus on our creativity and invest our most important growth opportunities.”

Miller said that EA will currently focus on several of its existing IP works, including "Battlefield", "The Sims", "Apex Heroes".However, EA will continue to promote the development of the "Iron Man" game, the new Star Wars work, and Mass Effect 5.
