In the latest "Witcher 4" technical demonstration video released by CDPR, although not much substantive content is provided, Xili's image in the demonstration video still sparked heated discussion.

Fans believe that Xiri's image in "The Witcher 4" looks changed, especially the slight changes in facial expressions. However, CDPR responded that it did not use the new model, but used a "replica" of "The Witcher 3", but some modifications were made.

A CDPR spokesperson issued a statement to foreign media explaining that "the face of Xiri in the new video is a direct replica of the model in "The Witcher 3". The character is also the same as the trailer version released last December.

Technically, the model is based on current MetaHuman technology, which allows it to achieve higher detail accuracy and more realistic animation effects.In adapting to the new technology to improve the quality of facial animation, only two minor adjustments were made – including “slightly raised eyebrows” and “more relaxed eyes.”The latter appeared in the first trailer, but was later removed.
