Review of the military system
As we mentioned in the first part, our current core goal of the troop system is to enable players to clearly identify and intuitively feel the unique value each troop brings to the squad on the battlefield.
We hope to shape their positioning in combat through the interrelated mechanisms and core settings between various arms, while retaining sufficient freedom, so that players can flexibly decide how to execute this role based on their own style.
Armour system
The military system consists of two main components: customizable elements and military shaping elements.
Customizable elements give players freedom, allowing them to explore and expand the boundaries of their respective troops' capabilities on the battlefield without violating their troops' responsibilities.The elements of the army shaping are specially designed to strengthen the starting experience of "pick up and fight", further consolidating players' understanding and expectations for the army positioning.
In this community update, we will use scout-based cases to elaborate on its iconic elements.
Choose your "training route"
Customizable elements: Training
Training is designed to strengthen the unique strengths of each army, ensuring that your role on the battlefield is both influential and strategic.When customizing your equipment, each armies will have two unique training routes to choose from.These training routes will bring bonuses and benefits in attribute values, helping you better complete team collaboration and task goals in various modes.The training route is divided into three levels:
Level 0: Passive effect, effective immediately after you choose the training route.
· Level 1 and Level 2: Enhanced version effect to further improve the performance of your selected character.Only obtained through Team Collaboration Performance and Experience Score (XP).
Level 3: One-time active skills, triggered manually by the player, can bring key advantages to yourself, your team, or the current combat situation according to the battle situation.
Taking the Scout as an example, the Level 3 skill is: Call a destroyed UAV to a designated location to mark the enemy.After the skill is activated, you need to continue to collaborate with your teammates and accumulate enough progress to use the skill again.
As you participate in teamwork or advance your goals in a specific mode, you will gradually unlock and earn bonuses for each stage along the selected training route.Whenever you use Level 3 skill once, the route will reset back to Level 2 and you must re-accumulate the progress to obtain Level 3 skill again.In addition, the progress of the training route will also be reset at the beginning of each round.
Through the Battlefield Lab, we are verifying the escalation rhythm, actual impact and balance of each training route, thereby adjusting their effectiveness and intensity when performing tasks in their respective arms.
Scouts are good at long-range shooting and stealth combat, and your training route is to strengthen and guide this combat style.If you prefer close combat in combat, you can also choose the "Pathfinder" training route, which has enhancement effects such as not being noticed by enemy equipment in non-sprint states, and is suitable for more flexible and close combat methods.
Although the training system has only been tested in the Battlefield lab for two rounds, we have discovered multiple directions to be optimized and plans to improve it before it is officially launched.The core goal of this system is to improve the efficiency of military execution and strengthen the motivation for team collaboration, and the Battlefield Lab provides us with enough space and time to ensure that these goals are achieved.

Arms shaping elements: iconic weapons
Each military has an iconic weapon closely related to its military positioning. The original intention of this setting is as described in the first part of this series - strengthening the core responsibilities and combat style of each military.
Although all weapons can play a role in the correct combat environment and become one of the valuable items in your equipment configuration, choosing to use a specialized weapon type that matches the current troop will receive an exclusive passive bonus, further improving your battlefield performance under that troop.
Assault Soldiers & Assault Rifles
The assault soldiers are the backbone of the frontline infantry, responsible for taking the lead in charge and responding to emergencies quickly.When using an assault rifle, you will get bonuses for the transition speed of firing after sprinting, and switching from an assault rifle to other weapons will also be faster, improving maneuverability and reaction speed.
·Engineering Soldier & Submachine Gun
The task of the engineer troop is to destroy and repair at all costs, and to go deep into the enemy's formation and fight in close combat.When using a submachine gun, you will get better control of the waist.
· Supporting troops & light machine guns
Supporting troops are often in the core area of the battle with dense firepower and are good at using heavy equipment.When suppressing the enemy with a light machine gun, the support force will not be punished with sprint speeds like other troops when using the same weapon, making it more flexible to shuttle the battlefield.
· Scout & Sniper Rifle
When using a sniper rifle, the sight will be reduced and the aim will be more stable by holding your breath.High proficiency with sniper rifles will also allow scouts to complete reloading faster after each shot.

· Assault Soldiers - Strengthen mobility
We currently plan to give the assault troops the effect of reducing fall damage and not being punished by movement speed after falling.Combined with other strait shaping elements, such as training systems, assault soldiers will further highlight their role positioning of "pioneering blade", and mobility becomes its key advantage.
· Engineer — Explosion damage resistance
Assault soldiers focus on front-line charges in infantry combat, while engineers are the only troops that can repair and cause significant damage to vehicles.We are in a high explosion risk environment, and we revolve this feature around this setting.Currently, we provide engineers with the iconic characteristics of explosion damage reduction, and will evaluate the differences and balance of this resistance effect between different arms in the Battlefield laboratory.
· Supporting troops — speed up first aid
Supporting troops are an indispensable choice for defense and long-lasting combat for every team.We focus on enhancing the importance of first aid, protection and supplying teammates so that teammates can re-enter the battle faster.The iconic feature of the current support force is the speed of first aid when it is stationary.We are collecting community feedback through the Battlefield lab to understand the expected evolution of supporter roles and to find aspects that can be further strengthened.
· Scout — Aiming Automatically Marking Enemy Scout The iconic feature of Scout is that it automatically marks enemies when aiming.We are actively collecting feedback on this feature and continuously improving it.
Arms shaping elements: iconic equipment
Arms shaping is the core of our future equipment system, ensuring that each armies have unique and unoverlapping equipment.This move strengthens the unique responsibilities of each army and provides equipment options that can not only improve their combat effectiveness but also support squads.
· Assault Soldier — Adrenaline Syringe
Equipped with an adrenaline syringe, it can resist flash and stun effects in a short time, improve sprint speed, reduce explosion damage, and enhance the perception of enemy footsteps.The Battlefield Lab has collected a lot of feedback about the equipment, and we will adjust its balance based on the feedback.For more details, please refer to the "Laboratory Learning Achievements" chapter.
· Engineer — Repair Tool
In the past, repair tools were often chosen by players between repairing or sacrificing them in exchange for more aggressive equipment.From now on, repair tools will always be available, and there will be no excuses not to repair team vehicles, right?
· Supporting troops — Supply bag
The supply pack on the ground can restore health or replenish ammunition for you, and the support force is responsible for dropping the equipment.We are adjusting the balance of this equipment in the Battlefield laboratory, including health and ammunition replenishment, effective range and mechanisms to prevent abuse.
· Scout — Dynamic Sensor
Whether you are a sniper or a pathfinder, whether in a defensive or offensive position, the action sensor can track enemy movements within a limited range.This is a must-have tool for the scout and an excellent choice for its iconic equipment.
Laboratory learning outcomes
Since March, thousands of players have participated in Battlefield lab tests, bringing a lot of feedback and bug reports.We were able to iterate quickly into specific game elements such as movement and response speed, while also discussing systems that require more time to improve, such as destructive effects, action animation, vehicle control, etc.
The Battlefield Lab is an ongoing process that lays the foundation for us to work with players to promote the next generation of Battlefield games.We will continue to read feedback and evaluate content to be improved, and the laboratory has become an important helper to lead us to achieve substantial improvements.
Army positioning and gameplay feedback
· Assault Soldier
Players reported that the assault soldiers had a "lone wolf" mentality, hoping to reduce their over-reliance on personal performance and enhance their teamwork ability.Key improvements include weapon mount systems (especially the ability to carry two iconic weapons in the early pre-alpha stage).The adrenaline syringe has also received a lot of feedback and is continuing to improve, including removing the life replies, and more adjustment details will be shared in the future.
· Engineering Soldier
The Engineer has performed well overall, but we are exploring how to enhance its interaction with the vehicle.In the previous test stage, players could equip dual rocket (missile) launchers. Although this improved the destructive power of this army, it was too powerful and would limit only one piece to be selected at a time in the future.
Supporting troops
Supporters are widely used for resurrecting teammates, supplying ammunition and life, and interception systems.We plan to make minor adjustments to this armies rather than major changes.A lot of feedback pointed out that too many supply boxes, excessive amounts of treatment and ammunition will lead to a battle stalemate.We are discussing how to correct it, including the duration of the supply box, the amount of supplies, etc., to ensure balance between the supporters and other types of troops.
· Scout
Tests and feedback show that Scouts have room for improvement, we agree."Battlefield" needs to be strengthened more.What we continue to explore from feedback is how to encourage scouts to perform different gameplay through different training routes, strengthen their information interference and destructive abilities, and balance their enemy marking effects.
Comprehensive adjustment
The above feedback is not exhaustive. As the development progresses, we will continue to gradually optimize all aspects of content based on player feedback.For example, the bulletproof shield that was subjected to a large number of boycotts in the Pre-Alpha stage has been removed from the multiplayer game.In addition, movement, animation and ground and air vehicle control are also being continuously improved.
The current content is in the Alpha development stage, and some functions will take longer to implement due to their complexity, but we promise to continue to inform players of progress through community channels and the Battlefield Laboratory and work together to build the future Battlefield.
