Capcom released its first quarter of fiscal year 2025 (April 1 to June 30, 2025) financial report, and as usual, the Resident Evil series performed very well.

Capcom said that after the release of Resident Evil 9 in June this year, sales of the Resident Evil series continued to grow, led by Resident Evil 8: Village and Resident Evil 4: Remake.

Specifically, through the launch of the Devil May Cry animated series with Netflix, Devil May Cry 5 sold more than 1.78 million sets in the second quarter of this year, while Devil May Cry HD Collection sold 594,000 sets and Devil May Cry 4: Special Edition sold 495,000 sets.

However, the most surprising thing is that due to negative reviews, Monster Hunter: Wilderness sales fell sharply after entering the second quarter of this year, with sales of only 477,000 units in three months.
