The whistleblower revealed that the suspense endings of "Resident Evil 3: Remake" and "Resident Evil: Village" were originally designed for the now cancelled "Resident Evil 9" initial project.The cancelled version is said to be a multiplayer game with Singapore as the background and focuses on multiplayer mode, and has entered the early stages of development.

Dusk Golem pointed out that the scene where Jill Valentien acquires a mysterious test tube in the finale of Resident Evil 3: Remake and the scene that reveals the mutation of BSAA soldiers at the end of "Village" are all foreshadowings for the project.He mentioned that the series has historically had a lot of unsolved suspense, such as the hint of Resident Evil 6 to Jack and the ending of Revelation 2 Wisk, where most of the settings have been abandoned or significantly modified during the development process.

Regarding the live-action film project code-named "Umbrella Chronicles" in the earlier rumor, the whistleblower said that the concept has been abandoned, and the related projects were fully reconstructed after director Zach Craig took over.

Capcom plans to display "Requiem" on the opening night of the Cologne Game Show on August 19. The media review will be lifted on August 20.
