"I really like the scene where there is almost no dialogue - like the 'gommage' section. It is obviously one of the most important scenes, but only two lines. It is a very richest message with the least conversation. Although it is more difficult, it will feel more fulfilling if you do it well."
Brosh also revealed that two finale scenes were deleted in the final version.In one of the scenes, Mael and Virso are basically talking about each other - from a writing perspective alone, this is not necessarily a bad idea.In conversation, letting the characters speak their own words can express disputes, because this is often the case in reality.But for Light and Shadow, this design doesn't work.
"I thought the idea was great and innovative... and said 'It's okay, it will definitely work, believe me'. After doing the motion capture, I realized that it was terrible, it was really bad."
Mael's ending also had a major reversal in the production.They used the new version of the script first when recording, but the effect was not good, so he asked the character's motion capture actors Charlotte Hopfner and Maxans Cazzola to learn the old version of the script "on the spot".He added: "I really thank Charlotte and Maxans for only one hour for memorizing lines - not many lines, so it's OK.
