"Cyberpunk 2077" sequel to "Cyberpunk 2" will have online multiplayer mode

Although CDPR is developing "The Witcher 4", CDPR's office in Boston, USA is already developing the sequel to "Cyberpunk 2077", codenamed Orion (Orion).It is still in the pre-production stage.

As of July 2025, 116 developers have been involved in the Orion project, but this number is growing steadily over time.Recently, the CDPR official website released a position as chief network engineer, which led to speculation that the Orion project will have an online multiplayer mode.
