Developer Harmonix announced that Rock Band 4 will be removed from the PlayStation store and Microsoft store on October 5 as the original license for the core track is about to expire.

"Rock Band 4" was originally launched on the PlayStation 4 and Xbox One platform on October 6, 2015.

Hello everyone,

On Sunday, October 5, 2025, "Rock Band 4" will celebrate its 10th anniversary.It's incredible along the way.

With this milestone, a major change follows: the original authorization for the core track is about to expire.Therefore, Rock Band 4 will be removed from PlayStation and Xbox Digital Store.If you already own the game, nothing will change—you will still retain full access and can transfer the game with songs to any new compatible device.The same goes for content-capable: songs will be removed after reaching the 10-year deadline, but all content you have purchased will remain in your game library.
