Immersive snow

This module has made some adjustments to the winter scene of the game and needs to be used with the seasonal module.

Function

Calculate the snow when the block is loaded, and there will be no winter blocks in summer;

Depending on the season of changing the day and night cycle, winter nights will be longer.

compatibility

Currently supports the following seasons modules:

Quiet four seasons/seasons (forge): use special hooks, because it does not actually modify the temperature method of biological community, but modify all the original code using it;

Fabric Seasons (Fabric): Complete compatibility, use the box, use it, and no special methods.

The Forge terminal provides additional compatibility with an hourglass module (needed to be used with the quiet four seasons): it writes its DaySpeed and NightSpeed to match the current season, and it can be freely changed in the settings or completely disabled.

Impact

In the 1.1.0 version, the game performance has been significantly improved by updating only the block (such as the grass square).

At the same time, the call of the biome.shouldfreeze method has been removed, because it is the main source of stutter, and always returns false.

A rough (completely unscientific) benchmark test conducted by the spark event detector shows that after flying around and generating blocks in the creative mode, this module only uses 0.99% server thread.

Future plan

Water freezes (the current implementation method will generate a lot of stuck and cannot work);

Make the leaves and grass white (similar to the base rock version).

Thank you

This module is the author's remake of the author's private module BetteersEreneseasons, which stems from the author's remake of Seren Tweaks on FORGE 1.19.2.
