The Sony PS4 host has finally obtained a new media player application, allowing players to play videos, music or pictures directly on the PC or U disk.

This simple application is directly named "Media Player", which has been launched on PSN.

Through this application player, the media can be directly played from the PC in the family LAN or on the U disk. Most of the common formats are supported, such as MKV/AVI/MP4 and so on.
