The upcoming "Dunk & Destruction" DLC expansion package of "Dunk & Destruction" will add "Abyss" to the game lineup, which will finally allow fans to simulate the fantasy showdown between "Abyss" vs. "Kane".WWE 2K25's DLC contains some really unexpected new characters that will largely convince fans to buy season tickets, or pick out a single DLC expansion that they are interested in.

The first DLC expansion package for WWE 2K25 will be released in May 2025.The expansion package is called the New Wave expansion package, when Alex Shelley, Chris Sabin, Giulia, Stephanie Vaquer, and an unannounced celebrity guest will join the game.WWE 2K25's second DLC expansion, "Slam Dunk and Destruction", will be released sometime in June 2025.This DLC includes three unannounced NBA stars, former world heavyweight champion The Great Khali, and TNA (Total Nonstop Action Wrestling) legendary "Abyss".

"The Abyss" appears in the DLC of "WWE 2K25", which is really shocking because the character has never appeared on WWE (World Wrestling Entertainment).Christopher Joseph Park, the character behind the mask, currently works in the backstage at WWE, and coupled with the company's current partnership with TNA, may open the door to this possibility.For those who don’t know much, “Abyss” is a masked wrestler known for his hardcore style competition, whose image is clearly inspired by wrestlers like “Cain” and Mick Foley."The Abyss" has played against Forley in TNA, but has never played against "Kain" in his career.
