Nintendo has deleted multiple descriptions of VRR support (variable refresh rate) from the official website of Switch 2.

As part of the Switch 2 launch, Nintendo announced that the Switch 2 will support 4K, 120FPS and VRR.However, it is puzzling that Nintendo seems to have removed mentions about VRR from multiple official websites.

The reporter pointed out that when the Switch 2 dock mode is connected to the TV to play, the supported VRR functions have been deleted, and currently only HDR and 120Hz are retained.

Oliver Mackenzie, a reporter from Digital Foundry, pointed out that references about VRR have been deleted on some Nintendo websites.As of writing, references about VRR have been deleted on official websites in Canada, the United States and Japan.Only the European official website is still on, but Nintendo may be removing it from all versions of the website and has not updated its European official website yet.

VRR (variable refresh rate) allows the supported TV to display unconventional frames for a smoother experience.This allows games with unlimited frame rates to have greater performance flexibility in high-density areas.
