"Bod Village" MOD author of "Star Dew Valley" recalls the difficult development process

"Bodd Village" is a mod in "Stardeau Valley", in which the town is full of characters from "Bodd Gate 3".Although this MOD recently survived the unexpected DMCA removal notice issued by Wizards, if things go a little differently, it may not be where it is today.

“This project was almost abandoned when it was going on for a month,” said the MOD maker. “There were only two people at the beginning. “Later, we found the person who was responsible for scripting the event, and the person who was responsible for localization,” the MOD maker went on. “Somehow, whenever we needed a man, the right people would come up. None of us had relevant experience, but we did it. It still felt very unreal.”

Such stories are common in ambitious MOD production projects where people use their spare time and volunteers to devote themselves to it—and it is particularly special when works like Bode Village, Fallout: London, or Skyrim Recast (assuming everything goes well this year) can finally be released in full.
