New disclosures have been made in Nintendo's case against Pocketpair, a developer of "Poru" by Nintendo.Pocketpair objected to Nintendo's lawsuit, citing that video games used the same mechanism as "Palu" before, such as "Monster Hunter", "Fallout", "Roman Workshop 5", "Titanfall 2", "Pickmin 3 Deluxe Edition", etc., but they were not sued by Nintendo.

Pocketpair means that the gameplay described in Nintendo's patent is not original. Pocketpair then listed several games, saying that these games prove that a feature was known to the public before Nintendo filed its original patent application.

Pocketpair says Runeter Room 5, Titanfall 2 and Piquemin 3 Deluxe Edition all allow players to release monsters or capture props (such as balls) and fire in a specific direction by releasing the button.
