On May 28, 2025, South Korea's NEOWIZ (co-CEOs: Kim Seung-cheol, Jean Teigen) announced today that it has signed a global release agreement for the studio's first game "Kill the Shadow" with Chinese independent game developer Shadowlight.

This cooperation is not only a single-letter distribution cooperation, but also a result of the two parties' common vision for "building a solid narrative game" and a high degree of compatibility in the strategic direction of exploring new original IPs.

"Kill the Shadow" is an adventure game centered on suspense narrative, set in a different world divided by war: Dark Water City.Players play the role of A Guang, a criminal policeman with the ability to "retrograde time", and conduct in-depth investigations into a series of confusing cases and gradually reveal the truth hidden behind the city.By connecting seemingly unrelated case clues to each other, players can not only experience the interlocking pleasure of reasoning, but also gain a highly immersive game experience in the rich and exciting plot performances.

"Kill the Shadow" combines 3D environments and 2D pixel characters, presenting a unique art style.Players will interact with many characters with distinct personalities in the game, explore diverse scenes from abandoned and ruined imperial factories to bustling Chinese Cyberpunk Ports, and decide the story direction based on their own choices and experience a diverse ending.
