More than 10,000 Switch games can run on Switch 2

Nintendo has updated the list of Switch games compatible with Switch 2, indicating that most test games currently run on Switch 2 without any problems.

In the recently updated list of games, Nintendo now confirms that 118 Switch games have "start issues" (cannot start) on Switch 2, and 50 games can be launched on Switch 2, but there will be some compatibility issues.There are 54 other games that are currently in question, but are planned to be resolved at the start or after.

Nintendo also said that after running basic compatibility tests on more than 15,000 third-party Switch games, about 75 (11,250) were “no problem” when the Switch 2 runs, and about 24% can be started, but further testing is underway.

Nintendo Labo Toy-Con, Niconico, Abema, Hulu, Crunchyroll and InkyPen are the only software Nintendo has confirmed to be incompatible with Switch 2.

Games like "Fitness Ring Adventure", "1-2-Switch" and other games that require the original Joy-Con controller can be played on Switch 2, but players must use the original Joy-Con controller to achieve full compatibility.

Switch 2 will be launched next week. Players have already obtained Switch 2, but a forced update has caused these sneaky Switch 2 to be unavailable.
