Daniel Ahmad, research director of market research firm Niko Partners, disclosed key data from Sony's recent business meetings on social platforms: the profits created by PS5 for Sony have exceeded the total cumulative profits of the previous four generations of PlayStation consoles (PS1 to PS4).

Specifically, PS5 has generated $13 billion in profits so far, while the combined profit of the first four generations of consoles is $10 billion.In terms of generations: PS1 makes a profit of US$3 billion, PS2 makes a profit of US$2 billion, PS4 makes a profit of US$9 billion, and PS3 loses US$4 billion due to the R&D cost of Cell processors and the pricing strategy of initial launch of up to US$599 - the latter is understandable.
