Nintendo announced that the trial program of "Nintendo Switch Online: Playtest Program" will be launched again this month, with the same test content as the mysterious new service that was briefly opened in October 2024.

According to Nintendo's official website information, this trial is open to users who have a subscription to "Switch Online + Expansion Pack".Players who have successfully selected will receive a "exclusive software" that can be experienced on Nintendo Switch or Switch 2 consoles.

The application time starts from 6 am on Friday, July 19th (Friday) and ends at 10:59 pm on Sunday, July 21st (Sunday).The applicant must be at least 18 years of age, and the registration area for Nintendo account is Japan, the United States, the United Kingdom, France, Germany, Italy, Spain, Canada, Brazil or Mexico.

The trial time is from 9:00 am on Tuesday, July 29, 2025 to 8:59 am on Monday, August 11, 2025.

Nintendo has not announced the specific content of this test, only indicating that it is part of the Switch Online-related services.Previously, in the first round of tests conducted in October 2024, due to the surge in the number of applicants, the opening ended in just 7 minutes, and the relevant content was quickly leaked, which caused heated discussion among players.The videos and information exposed at that time showed that the test software may be a large-scale multiplayer online game similar to "Minecraft", but Nintendo did not officially confirm it.
