Absurd Ventures, a studio founded by former Rockstar Games co-founder and producer of Red Dead Redemption 2, announced today that it has reached an agreement with Smilegate, a South Korean developer of CrossFire, to release the studio's first game.Set in Absurd's original "A Better Paradise" universe, this game is positioned as a 3A-level open-world science fiction action adventure game.

Currently, this unnamed new work is in its early stages of development, and Hauser personally serves as the screenwriter and creative director.His old partners from the R-star era, Lazlow and Michael Unsworth, have also confirmed to join the creative team.It is worth noting that although Smilegate has made strategic investments in Absurd Ventures last year, the cooperation means that Smilegate plans to make a "full investment" in the project and fund its development.
