Balm Mod was produced by the author "BLAYTHINININTH".

Balm is a library module, which itself does not add any content.

It just encapsulates all code -specific code behind a unified API (in the simplest way, does not involve any magic), and provides a super class to use it to add to the Vanilla class in a platform method.

It also adds a simple network system (similar to Forge) and a configuration layer with synchronous support.For Fabric, it depends on Cloth Config. For FORGE, it uses the back -end default FORGE configuration system.

I don't recommend that other modifiers build on this basis, because my module needs to be relentlessly destroying back compatibility.

This is the test operation of FORGE and Fabric at the same time on my mod, so only a few mods are dependent on this.

If these two platforms are finally feasible, my other modules will follow.

Please note that this is not a magical solution that runs for FORGE and Fabric Mods. It is just a library that my MODS will depend on makes it easier for the release of the two versions.

I can't switch directly to Fabric and give up all existing Forge users, but I don't want to miss Fabric's train (if so).

Try to entertain one port to show that most platforms specific things can be easily hidden in the actual MOD code without need to care about the Modloader back end, which should make it easier to support the two MODs at the same time.

There are other libraries to do the same thing, but considering the number of mods I maintain, I don't want to put all the money on one ship, just to deal with the troubles brought by those other mods to stop support.
