This time I’m here to tell the little yellow chickens that we participated in a game festival and updated our demo!Welcome to try it~

Oh, the Chinese fonts have also been adjusted!I felt that the previous boldface font didn't have a fantasy feel, so I changed it to a new version. However, we couldn't figure out whether it was suitable or not. Did it look awkward?

As a medieval dark fantasy war chess game, "Criminal Journey" is honored to participate in the Steam Costume Game Festival organized by Block Games!Mysterious magic, sharp swords, and all kinds of strange armors based on history and added with fantasy concepts are all important elements in "Criminal Journey". Players can play it from November 4th to November 18th, 2025!

The production team optimized and bug-fixed the demo based on everyone's feedback during the trial.With more convenient operation and comfortable UI, all players are welcome to give it a try!

Gameplay & Balance

•Adjustments have been made to several character pieces to make them more distinctive

•Adjusted the difficulty curve to make early combat smoother and easier to master.

•Redesigned the threat level penalty mechanism to make challenge progress clearer

Control & Interface

•Optimized unit control experience

-Click directly on the plot to move your unit, no need to drag and move it

- Click on the target enemy to quickly deploy units and start fighting immediately

•New camera sensitivity adjustment setting, players can customize the response sensitivity of the camera by moving the mouse

•Optimized the display of the "Command Point" icon to make it more prominent

•Visual transitions are smoother when loading or changing scenes

UI&prompt optimization

•Redesigned the settlement interface, adding more detailed battle data and player statistics

•Now, after completing the entire demo, you will directly enter the new settlement interface and obtain inheritance points.

•Added “Ability Notification” feature to alert players when a unit activates its ability

•Added new special effects and tips for “Home Burglary Protection” (be careful not to get burglarized again!)

BUG fixes & community feedback

•Many bug fixes based on player feedback from our amazing community (kudos to you guys)

•Based on everyone’s feedback, the game has been overall polished and optimized.
