Extracting pipelines require energy to operate, and energy comes from engines (such as redstone engines). Different engines can provide unable to level energy. For details, please read the energy articles.
Wooden pipeline
Wooden pipelines can work only if they have energy. The greater the energy, the higher the efficiency (the faster the speed of the items). Please see the automatic melting furnace in the entry.
The simplest source of energy is the redstone engine.The redstone engine does not need any fuel. It only needs to give it a continuous redstone signal, so usually we use a trolley or red stone fire to activate the redstone engine to drive the pipeline:
In addition to the input end of the wooden pipeline, the wooden pipeline can also be used to connect the pipeline that could not be connected to each other (such as the stone pipe and the stone pipe):

Obsidian pipeline
When there is no energy, the obsidian pipeline can only absorb the items above it. When there is energy input, it can absorb the items dropped in a cone -shaped range in front of it. The larger the energy, the larger the range.
Emerald pipeline
The emerald pipeline is an upgraded version of the wooden pipeline, which has powerful functions.Its basic placement method is the same as wooden pipes. The items will be extracted from one baffle, and the energy is also required:

At the top is a filter that can put the items in the item bar into the filter for setting (at this time the items are not really put in, just put in an icon to indicate that the item is set).
Below the filter are three buttons, which correspond to the three drawing modes:
Whitelist mode: Only draw the items set in the filter. For example, in the example above, if it is set to be a whitelist mode, only stones and grass squares are extracted from the box.If the filter is empty, no items are not taken.
Blacklist mode: Take any items set in the filter. For example, in the example above, if it is set to be a whitelist mode, you can extract anything except the stone and the grass.If the filter is empty, you can extract anything, that is, the same function as the wooden pipeline.
Rotating mode: Take turns to extract the items set in the filter. Extracting pipelines are the starting point of automated mechanical structure. The venue extraction of raw materials is often the first step of automation (such as extraction of sand and coal from the box to the melting furnace to burn).
Due to cheap costs and convenient drivers (can be driven by free redstone engines), wooden pipelines become the most practical pipeline pipelines.
If obsidian pipes are supplied to the redstone engine, they can only absorb the items within 1 square meter in front of them, without much practical value, but to really play a more advanced engine (such as the Sterling engine, the fuel engine) continuous supply energyAnd these are consuming fuel, which is quite expensive.
Although the emerald pipeline is powerful, the cost is particularly expensive, and I have not thought of many practical places at present, so I do n’t use a lot.

Function: The main force of transmission of items
Key points:
Two or two between the stone pipeline, the stone pipeline and the quartz pipeline cannot be connected.This feature is very easy to use when the two -row pipeline is needed.
The sand and stone pipelines can only be connected to the pipeline and cannot be connected to the container or machine.When the pipeline needs to be wiped by the veteran or the machine but does not want to connect with the container or machine, the sand and stone pipelines are very useful.
The golden pipeline can accelerate the items in it.Multiple gold pipelines can be accelerated instantly to fly.The items accelerated by the golden pipeline will be blocked when they pass through other pipelines. The resistance is: Circular Pipeline> Sand and Stone Pipeline> Stone Pipeline> Quartz pipelines.If you want to speed up in a long pipeline, you must put a golden pipeline every few steps.
You can connect more than two transmission pipelines on the same node for fork, such as the figure below:
The pathway is divided into two, and the probability of the item will randomly enter one of them when the fork is through fork.The figure is divided into two channels, and the probability of entering any channel is 50%.If you divide into three channels, it is 33.3%, and so on.
If you want to control the routing behavior of the items, such as letting the stones go on the road and the soil goes down, you need to use a routing diamond pipeline. See below for details.
Another situation is that multiple channels are combined into one, as shown below:
This situation is a bit intuitive.The items from routes A and B are not merged into the C Road, but as shown in the arrow in the figure. The items on Low A will be randomly entered into the road B or C;Essence
The key is that the transmission pipeline is a dual -line road without a specific transmission direction.If the effect of AB is really to be achieved, the iron pipeline of the routing class needs to be used. See below for details.
Here is another headache that we often encounter in actual combat -full box overflow.
Look at the simple example below:
From the input box to transport the coal to the furnace as a fuel, when you need to burn, you can manually throw the material into the stove to burn.As long as there is enough fuel in the box, it is not necessary to care about fuel for a long time.
This is a simple and effective semi -automatic furnace structure, but there is a fatal problem. If there is no material in the furnace or a very slow -burning material, the coal of the melting furnace will be full (64), but at this time the input terminal will not beIt will continue to send the coal to the stove automatically, but the furnace is full at this time, so the coal will fall to the ground.If this problem is not found in time, the coal that falls on the ground will disappear 5 minutes, and the loss will be huge.
In order to solve this problem, I recommend this design:
Here is a feature of the transmission pipeline: if the connected container or machine is full, the items will be randomly selected to continue transmission of other forks of the current grid.
In the previous picture, because there was no other fork on the last grid pipe connected to the furnace, the coal was squeezed out of the pipe when the fuel was full of fuel.In this improved design, coal will go up in the same case and enter the circular circulation.Once the fuel in the furnace comes out, the coal in the cycle will be sent to the furnace immediately.Due to the existence of the ring channel, some coal will be returned to the box.This is actually the result of our hope, because if there are too many items in a pipeline, it will cause the pipeline explosion.

Function: Control the direction of solid objects in the transmission of pipeline forks.
Iron Pipeline -Multi -in -one Function
As mentioned above, if the input of multi -channel pipelines is to be achieved, it is impossible to connect with the transmission pipeline directly. At this time, the iron pipeline must be used.Look at an example:
Connect the two pipes with iron pipes and merge into a pipeline.However, when the iron pipe was put down, its three sides were baffles, and items could not pass.
We need to build a building wrench, then take the wrench on our hands, right -click the iron pipeline.Every time you click, the baffle in a certain direction will disappear, and the merged items will never output without a baffle.

There are no baffles in the direction of road C.At this time, if there are items in from Cut C, it will also be blocked by the original road.
Diamond Pipeline -One Disassembling Multifunctional
In contrast to the "multi -unity" function of the iron pipeline, the function of the diamond pipeline is "one demolition". Look at the following example:
Sands and coal are entered from A Road at the same time. We hope that after the diamond pipeline fork, the sand takes the road B and coal takes the road C.
There is a color mark on each road of the diamond pipeline. In this example, the A is yellow, the B is blue, and the C is red.

From a practical perspective, route pipes are most commonly used in long -distance transportation.In order to save pipelines, multiple items input sources are often merged with iron pipelines into a pipeline to the destination, and then disassembled them with a diamond pipeline and sent them to different machines.
Another typical usage is to save input containers and reduce trouble.Use the same box as an input container for a variety of materials (sand and coal in the above example), so that you do n’t have to distinguish which box should be placed when putting the materials, and you do n’t have to poke too many pipes on a container, which will affect the effect, which will affect the affectBeautiful and wiring.
