MIMI is a very powerful musical instrument MOD. This tutorial will briefly guide you how to use MIMI to share your MIDI song list from you in MINECRAFT, or easily realize the desire to play a song purpose together.

First of all, you need to prepare:

MIDI Music File: You can find a lot of resources on the Internet. You can also try to write or use software to transcribe it yourself.

Music instruments: MIMI provides a richer instrument choice. They are divided into handheld instruments and square musical instruments. The handheld instrument is the form of the item. It can be used to use it in the hand, and the square musical instrument (such as the Piano piano) needs to be placed in the world.

Switchboard and Transmitter: Key props for sharing music.

(Optional) Mechanical Maestro: It is worth considering when people are not enough.

Import music

First click to open the GUI of Transmitter:

Enter the folder address you stored in the MIDI file in the MIDI FOLDER, and then click the first button on the right to play the list of the folder.

In the lower right corner is the last, stop, suspension, playback, and so on.

It is worth noting that this labeled three buttons: ①②lam:

①: Cycle mode, click to switch to single (1), all (all), non -circulating (×).

②: The order of the song list, click to switch to order or chaos.

③: Transmission method: Click to switch to public, link, and self.

In order to have a simple and clear practical effect, the transmission method is P (public).

Switchboard configuration

Then we opened the GUI of the instrument.

Put Switchboard in the slot of "Midi Switchboard" in the lower right corner. Then click the small pencil button next to it to open the editing interface of Switchboard.

Obviously, you can see that there are three buttons of Linked Transmitter:

ME: Transmitter in the hands of the current player ("I").

PUB: Connected to the transmission method to public.

×: No transmitter.

The information on the top of Switchboard will still be retained after taking out the instrument, and open it after inserting other musical instruments or MIMI redstone cubes.

You can choose "Me", so that Switchboard will record your player ID, and then give it to other players, they will only receive your transmitter signal. It should be noted that if transmitter's transmission method is selected "Self", the signal can only be spread on the player, and it is useless to hand over Switchboard.

If you choose "PUB", all players near naturally can share their MIDI files through the public transmission method of Transmitter.

In order to have a simple and clear practical effect, first choose the transmission method to PUB (public).

Enable Channel

At this step, Transmitter has chosen to play the track, and the private/public chooses. Why is there no sound?

You need to debug "Enabled Midi Input Channel".Point "部" is all enabled, and the point "×" is closed. Generally speaking, the drum drums such as Channel 10, so in addition to the instrument, we can enable the channel other than 10.

At this time, the instrument in your hand should follow the command of Transmitter and play out the music you like.

Contest

How to play multiple instruments at the same time?

When a player can sit in a block musical instrument, the main and deputy hand holds a handheld instrument each. As long as they are all equipped with the Switchboard, you can play up to three kinds of instruments at the same time.Come to play synchronously.

But maybe there is no one nearby. You want to play more than three kinds of instruments at the same time, or you can't take your hands, which requires Mechanical Maestro. Right -click it to open the GUI, put a musical instrument that is not inserted into Switch, a Switchboard and configured channelsThen fill it with energy (such as a pull bar), and Mechanical Maestro can play with Transmitter.
