Embeddium

Embeddium is an unofficial fork of sodium (Rubidium), but it has additional changes and errors to better integrate (NEO) Forge module ecosystem.

Embeddium is not supported by Caffeinemc.Do not report the problem tracker or Discord group they encountered.If you want to discuss the author's module, provide suggestions, etc., you can enter its Discord group.

Note: Regarding localization, as a bifurcation of sodium, you can still use an unofficial translation resource package of sodium.CFPA is also available, but it is not updated in real time.

The Fabric version should be compatible with sodium affiliated and can directly replace the corresponding version of the sodium +铟 (Indium).The module version also includes the sodium video interface of [RSO] Reese.

compatibility

Generally speaking, when the box is used, Embeddium should be compatible with more modules than 铷.However, considering the breadth of the renderer, it may have compatibility issues with certain modules using advanced rendering.If you encounter problems, open the problem in the GitHub warehouse.Some problems may require other modules to change the code, but it is best to record them first.

The reasons are obvious.

Note: Except for version 1.19.2, the MOD can use Holygl4ES to run with a mobile starter. Any version except this version needs to use the Vulkan Zink renderer, otherwise it will not be able to enter the archive.

Color (light and shadow)

If you need to support the color device, continue to use Oculus.Note that in the past, Oculus has created some of some rendering errors (HAS CAUSED SOME RENDERING BUGS OWN), so it is recommended to install it only when you actually use the color device.

Relatively upstream changes

This list has been out of date (it will not be updated since February 2024).

At that time, it was released on the premise of the author's plan to merge Embeddium's forge patch to sodium, and should not be used to compare between modules.

Version support

At any specific moment, the author usually provides updates corresponding to multiple Minecraft versions, but the support levels are different.The following table lists the supported version.

Due to the limited resources used for the project, the author will give priority to the version they use, or the most popular version in the module community.If you need to repair some things in the version of the EOL, open the Pull Request. If the change is simple enough and the risk is low, it is likely to be merged and then published.

In addition, although (Neo) FORGE and Fabric are supported, (Neo) Forge is the main development platform and target when the author design and optimization.Prior to the next release, the change was transplanted to Fabric.

Note: (Neo) Forge refers to [Forge] Minecraft Forge on 1.20.1 and lower versions, and [Neo] Neoforge on 1.20.1 and higher versions.

At present, the author does not intend to support the original forge on the newer version of Minecraft.

If you need to use forge on the high version (currently 1.21), use Beddium.
