City Resewn

Some servers increase the content of the game in the form of a CIT resource package. Many similar items have unique texture after installation.

This effect is implemented by non -original function CUSTOM ITEM Textures (CIT), so players who do not install Optifine cannot use the CIT resource package normally.

This module also implements the CIT function, so players can install this module to replace the CIT function of Optifine.

Overview

What is the use of this module?

McPatcher has a function called Custom Item Textures (or CIT), which was later adopted by Optifine.

This function allows resource packages to replace the texture of the items when meeting specific conditions.

This Fabric module can be installed to use this feature, and McPatcher or Optifine is no longer required.

What is the difference between this module and the CIT function of MCPatcher / Optifine?

The format is exactly the same.

It will find the following. PROPERTIES file at the following directory:

Assets/Minecraft/Citresewn/Cit

Assets/Minecraft/Optifine/CIT

Assets/Minecraft/MCPatcher/CIT

It will also provide more useful loading error messages to the CIT resource package that cannot be loaded.

Does this module support Optifine / Sodium?

It will always try to support Sodium, but the former can also run without the latter.

It will not consider compatibility with Optifine during its development. If the player is installed with Optifine, they may not need this module.

Version

1.20-1.20.2 There is an unofficial repair branch: Cit Resewn JSONLAGPATCH, which fixes the stutter caused by loading some items.

Is there a forge version?

Fabric's Mixins enables this module to achieve the CIT function in the original version smoothly.

Don't ask for Forge version!

Neoforge can use Xinya to interconnect, just with Citresewnneopatcher, support 1.21.1.

Non -official Forge version:

CIT Reforget supports 1.18.2 & 1.19.2;

Forge Cit supports 1.20.1.

Support 1.16 / other MC versions?

Because some of the content used by this module to implement the CIT function did not join the game in version 1.16, the author is not capable of transplanting it.
