Brief introduction

Viarewind is a multi -platform server plug -in that depends on Viaversion and Viabackwards. Three plug -in can be used together to connect your server from 1.7.x to the latest version of MC.

Viarewind itself is both a spigot plugin and a Fabric Mod, and it also supports the use of support as a Velocity plug -in (SPONGE and BUNGEECORD's support are moved to a separate plug -in in the latest version).

Since version 4.0.0 (corresponding to Viaversion/Viabackwards 5.0.0), Viarewind requires Java 17.

If you need to use the 1.17.1 and below versions (regardless of Viafabric or server), download the JAR compatible with Java 8-16 here.

use

Viarewind's own role is to connect to a client with 1.7.x / 1.8.x to connect to a higher version of the server.

If your server needs to support the client of 1.7.2-1.8.9, or if you use the Legacy Fabric 1.8.9 client, you need to install Viafabric / Viaversion and ViaBackWards and then install Viarewind.
