Overview
Unlike many other small map modules, XAERO's small map maintains the beauty of the original Minecraft, which helps it to be a more perfect supplement in the game.This is also the first rotating square map for Minecraft.
In various custom settings, there are small circular map options and locking small map rotation (replaced by direction arrows).Small maps can display surrounding entities (including players, creatures, and items) as dots or icons with custom colors (usually avatars).In addition to the direction of the default compass, you can also place your own path in the small map and the game world.The path point can help you find the place you have arrived before or reach the specific coordinates, and you can also choose to transmit.Small maps can display the surrounding surface and underground blocks (cave mode).These are only some functions of the module, and there are more.Please read the "function" part below to learn more about a more complete list.
In order to comply with the multi -person server rules, the module has two versions, namely the full version and fair competition version, which is designed for fair PVP.This module is the main client, which can get some additional functions (such as world recognition) on the server.

Why does the path point transmission work for me?
There may be many reasons.This module will send a chat command to send you to the path point, the default is /tp @s x y z, so it needs appropriate permissions.The original /TP command requires OP status (enabled cheating), but on the non -original server installed with certain plugins, it can also set a separate authority for the command.The command used can be changed in the small map settings. The "Transfer Chat command" option can be changed by the server in the path order menu.Non -original transmission commands usually do not support @S and other selectors, so it may need to be removed from the configuration command.Right -click on the world map transmits its own command settings.You can learn about relevant information on the world map description page under common problems.
If the "transmission" button is disabled, it may also mean in various cases.The most common reason is that it manually uses a path point from the non -"automatic" child but still from the same dimension.If the "automatic" child world should not be selected automatically in a certain world, then please choose the correct sub -world, and then use "the enables world as automatic" in the path order options of the path.In this way, you can exchange all path points between the two worlds, and then you can transfer it to the path located in the "automatic" sub -world.

The maps of the maps you currently confirmed will affect which ways in the small map module are regarded as automatic (Auto).This makes each map create a separate path data.At any time, you can enter the road order menu (press the U key), select and check any non -automatic path point world from the drop -down menu in the upper right corner.You can choose options-> to make the world automatic, so that any sub -world in the currently confirmed map is automatic.
Not using the world map module?
The wrong sub -world is considered (Auto) and is automatically selected. This may be because the server plug -in changes the behavior of the original compass and interfere with the module's "multi -world" detection (if you use this function, the defaultForbidden).In most cases, the compass points to your bed, not a global birth point.If you sleep on another bed, the path point disappears, then sleeping on the right bed again should return everything to normal.

How to add your own physical icon or cover the default icon?
First of all, make sure you use the physical icon/avatar in the small map settings-> physical radar category, whether you set it as "always" or "player list".Make sure you know how to show them.These are the icons introduced in this section.
From a small map module 21.6.0 version, you can use your own elixir/image to cover the default icon of the entity by making resource packages (or include the required resources in your module).In addition, you can also add or improve physical type variant support by creating a simple module or adding some code to the existing module (different variants of the same entity type have different icons).Although this is usually unnecessary for the simpler multi -variant entity types (most physical types).
By default, the small map module uses a physical renderer/model that is bound to the entity to render all physical icons.This supports all the original creatures and some simple two -foot/four -foot organisms. Their models have easy -to -recognize head models (heads, ears, noses, etc.).If the module cannot do this, the colorful dots will be displayed.
The resource (ASSETS) directory related to the icon is/assets/xaerominimap/entity/icon/.You can find the directory in the jar file of the small map module and extract the file/folder contained in it for reference.The jar file contains a sample file /Assets/xaerominimap/icon/definition/example_mod/example_entity.json.If there is a physical type Example_mod: Example_entity, the example file will correspond to it.Read the annotations in the Example_entity.json file to understand its structure so that you can create a similar icon definition.
In addition,/assets/xaerominimap/Entity/Icon/Definition/MINECRAFT/contains several original physical type file files. These example files may require additional annotations for default entity variants.By default, the physical variant support is very simple, and the physical type variant ID is only the main texture and resource location of the entity.
If you set the "DebugntityVariantids" option to True in a small map configuration file, the variant ID of the new physical (variant) will be displayed in chat and log/console.
