According to foreign media Eurogamer, Victor Antonov, the art director of Half Life 2 and the designer of "Shame" has passed away at the age of 52.

Marc Laidlaw, former chief screenwriter of Half Life, confirmed the news on social media:

Victor Antonov moved to Paris from Bulgaria, and was only 17 years old at the time. He has participated in the development of many famous games, including Half-Life 2, Counter-Strike: Origins, Half-Life 2: The Lost Coast, and Shame, "Humiliation: Trial of Dunwall", "Wolfenstein: New Order", "Fallout 4", "Shame 2", "Doom" and "Pretty".
