Wargaming, a developer of World of Tanks, has confirmed that its new mecha shooter "Iron Hunter" will enter the early access stage on April 2.

Early Access Preview:

"Iron Hunter" was first announced during the 2024 TGA Game Awards ceremony.Unlike the developers' previous games, "Iron Hunter" is a science fiction setting, integrating elements of hero shooting games, battle royale games and evacuation shooting games.Five of the two teams fought on the battlefield, collecting special resources, and could win by defeating the enemy or successfully evacuating.

When Steel Hunter enters the early access phase, it will include seven different "hunter" mechas for players to choose from, including Razerside, Heartbreaker, Fenris, Ursus, Trenchwalker, Prophet and Weaver.The test will include 3 maps: CrimsonRidge, MarylandHeights and Stonecutter Keeper.

On Steam, the developer explained that the game launched Early Access is to allow developers and players to “complete and expand the game together, ensuring every shot and every hunter is carefully adjusted.”There is currently no specific plan for early access duration, but the studio’s goal is “once player feedback helps us refine the core experience, it will quickly move to the full version.”

Game Early Access will be available on PC only, logging in to Steam and Wargaming Game Center.
