"Unlocked Room" manufacturer VR's new work "Ghost Town" was announced

Fireproof Games - The studio that developed the weird puzzle box adventure game The Room and its equally excellent sequel have announced the release date for its supernatural VR suspense game Ghost Town.The game will be available on Meta Quest on April 24, with PC VR and PSVR2 versions coming later this year.

Ghost Town will bring players back to 1983, and players will play the role of ghost hunter Edith Penrose.Edith and her roommate run a successful supernatural detective firm in London, and, as Fireproof Games says, “she can pay rent almost on time, and there are fewer ghosts in the bathroom mirror than usual.”

Unfortunately, when Edith's brother disappeared, her world turned upside down—and then an adventure to find her brother's whereabouts begins.She first heads to a remote island in Scotland to find a talented psychic, and then goes deep into the secret corner of London's supernatural phenomena.

All of these plots unfold in “Large-wide environments that can be explored freely”, where players interact with characters presented through full motion capture techniques, both living and undead.Fireproof Games explains: "You can hold a controller in each hand, light up the road with a flashlight, and explore various places full of atmosphere. Use the flexibility of your hands to solve puzzles that require hands-on operation, cast spells, and even summon trapped ghosts to help them go to another world."
