Steam "Die first" "Star Wars: Hunter" is out of service in October

Zynga, a developer of "Star Wars: Hunter", which currently logs on the Nintendo Switch console and mobile platform, recently announced that the game will be discontinued on October 1, 2025.

"After careful consideration, we want to inform everyone that the final content update for Star Wars: Hunter on all platforms will be held April 15. The game will remain playable until October 1, 2025, when the game's online server will be closed."

"We know this news may be disappointing and think about the assurance that this decision was by no means a rash. The passion and dedication to the game and its community mean a lot to us and we are committed to keeping transparency and renewing throughout the transition."

In-game purchases will be disabled after April 15, and players with in-game currency balances will not receive a refund.In the FAQ, Zynga said that 30 days of notification has been made, so players have enough time to use currency to purchase in-game items.

Star Wars: Hunter was originally scheduled to launch on Steam in January this year, and the plan seems to have been cancelled as the game is discontinued.The game store page was last updated on January 9, after being tested in December and announcing an early access extension.The Steam page still shows "coming soon."
