The new horror game "I Hate This Place" developed by Broken Mirror Games, a new brand under Bloober Team and jointly launched by Skybound Entertainment, has been officially confirmed to be unveiled at the G-Fusion Game Fest held in Beijing from June 28 to 29, 2025, and will provide a trial demo at the booth No. 11 of Hall 2!

Adapted from the Eisner Award-nominated comic to create a new experience of surreal survival horror

Inspired by Skybound, created by Kyle Starks and Artem Topilin and nominated for Eisner Award, I Hate This Place will lead you into a supernatural world where realistic rules no longer apply.

In this strange corner of the universe, joy and horror coexist.Whether it is a farmhouse, the earth, or reality itself - everything here wants your life.No matter what you do, avoid the Longhorns at all costs.No one who meets him will survive.No exception.

The player will play the protagonist Elena, who is forced to embark on the road to survival after accidentally summoning evil forces.Faced with the approaching hostility and strange phenomena, she must make good use of the environment, collect resources, make tools, and find shelter for a limited time to escape the deadly threat of the night.

This work takes an isometric perspective + open world as the core gameplay, integrates retro 1980s American comic style and bright colors, creating an absurd, depressing and extremely tensioned horror world.

The game adopts a day-night cycle mechanism, and combat includes shooting and melee combat, emphasizing strategy and on-the-spot reaction.Each scene is not only full of visual impact, but also has independent story clues and horror mysteries waiting for players to explore and solve.

This game is planned to be officially launched within this year and will be released simultaneously on multiple platforms.
