According to Insider Gaming, "Blade Runner: Time To Live" is a character-driven third-person movie action adventure game, in which players are the only Blade Runner in 2065.

According to unpublished documents sent to Insider Gaming, the work has a "engaging story" that combines the philosophical theme and dynamic action adventure gameplay of the Blade Runner movie, with a plot of about 10-12 hours.

The game entered pre-production in September last year. The core production team has developed "Quick Quarre" and plans to end pre-production in March 2025, launch a prototype in September 2025, release in September 2027, and be available on PC, PS5, Xbox Series X|S, as well as the next generation Xbox and PS system (PS6).

The game's development budget is about $45 million, of which $9 million is spent on outsourcing motion capture and actor expenses. However, the budget does not include original music production, actor portrait rights and usage fees, QA and game testing, localization and possible DLC.

"Blade Runner: Time To Live"

This is a third-person action-adventure game that will allow players to play the role of So-Lange, an old Nexus-6 model that "has inexplicably lived for a long time, far beyond its limited lifespan."

“From the bustling underground city of New Zurich in 2065, heading to the gloomy ruins of the forgotten alien world, and being ordered to retire Rev, the mysterious and cruel leader of the underground replica network, you are betrayed and abandoned to die in a cruel hostile environment.”

The game is set as four mainstays, including stealth, combat, exploration and investigation, and dramatic character interactions. In addition, Supermassive plans to include a "real, powerful, poignant" conversation in its characters.

In terms of gameplay, "Blade Runner: Time To Live" sets various game "themes", such as upgrading players' skills and abilities, using past memories to understand the plot, using the game's built-in technology to complete investigations, etc.

It is worth noting that some of these elements may have changed during development.A source close to game development said the game was "quite good".

As for the reason for the cancellation of the game, it is said that it was done by Alcon Entertainment, the copyright owner of Blade Runner.
