Ubisoft Quebec is recruiting new players. Is the next generation of "Assassin's Creed" on the agenda?

Eight months have passed since the release of "Assassin's Creed: Shadows", and Ubisoft seems to have started developing a new game in the series.The new job recruitment information published on the company's official website confirms this.

While Ubisoft is still moving forward with remasters, multiplayer testing, and the mysterious Assassin's Creed: Hexe, the Quebec studio that was responsible for development of Assassin's Creed: Shadows has started hiring for a new project that will likely still be part of the Assassin's Creed franchise.The latest job openings show that the Quebec studio is looking for an animation director and a character technical director.Both of these job postings were recently announced, and crucially, they are not tied to other known projects in the series (including the multiplayer version of Assassin's Creed, which was explicitly mentioned in separate job postings).

According to the job description, the animation director will be responsible for the animation development of characters, scenes and objects, formulating the overall animation visual plan for the game and leading the animation team.Another specialist will focus on character modeling, technical optimization and coordination with the art team.The job posting did not reveal plot or technical details.

Currently, the studio continues to support the operation of "Assassin's Creed: Shadows", including the recently launched "Claws of Awaji" DLC.In addition, Ubisoft has released a free update for Assassin's Creed: Visions, adding new areas, story content and additional features.
