While Ubisoft is still moving forward with remasters, multiplayer testing, and the mysterious Assassin's Creed: Hexe, the Quebec studio that was responsible for development of Assassin's Creed: Shadows has started hiring for a new project that will likely still be part of the Assassin's Creed franchise. The latest job openings show that the Quebec studio is looking for an animation director and a character technical director. Both of these job postings were recently announced, and crucially, they are not tied to other known projects in the series (including the multiplayer version of Assassin's Creed, which was explicitly mentioned in separate job postings).
