"Mafia: Hometown" launches "Free Mode" free update

Today, 2K and Hangar 13 announced that they will launch a free update "Free Mode" tomorrow (Friday, November 21)* for all "Mafia: Hometown" players.

"Free Mode" allows players to explore the world of "Mafia: Hometown" more deeply and test their skills in hard-core gunfight challenges and thrilling racing events.The gunfight challenge will be unlocked as the main story progresses, and the challenge can be repeated to obtain stage rewards.

This update also brings a number of new game features.Players can now capture the feel of early 20th century Sicily with the new Photo Mode, which features exclusive filters, or experience the game in a nostalgic film style with Sicilian Cinema mode, a black-and-white film filter inspired by classic Italian films.For experienced players, the beloved classic difficulty returns again, requiring precise management of health and ammunition reserves; while the new first-person driving perspective brings a more immersive and realistic driving experience to all models.

The update simultaneously introduces a variety of new vehicles, firearms, knives, clothing and amulets for players to obtain.

The "Free Mode" update will be available to all "Mafia: Hometown" players starting at 0:00 on November 21st, Beijing time (8:00am on November 20th, Pacific time).The game is available on PlayStation®5, Xbox Series X|S and SteamPC platforms.
