"Guild Wars: Remastered" announced to be released on December 3, free update for old players

ArenaNet and its co-developer 2weeks announced "Guild Wars Reforged", which will be released on December 3 and will be launched on the PC platform (Steam and ArenaNet official website) for $19.99.All old players can update for free.

Game director Stephen Clarke-Willson said in a press release: "Even after twenty years, we are still passionate about improving players' experience of the original Guild Wars. The game has a loyal fan base, and we hope that through this update, new and old players will find reasons to continue to adventure together in Tyria."

2weeks co-founder Bandon Dillon added: "It's great to revisit the original Guild Wars. I've been involved in the development of the series since I was a teenager, working with the founders of the original studio to create the world of Tyria from the beginning. Working with ArenaNet to update and improve the player experience means this game will continue to be a favorite among MMORPG fans for years to come."

Guild Wars: Remastered Overview:

This new all-inclusive update package integrates all the content of the original Guild Wars campaign "Prophecy", "Factions" and "Nightfall" and has passed Steam Deck verification.The update is free for all old players, and new players can get the update through Steam or directly from ArenaNet’s official website guildwars.com.In addition, this update also adds support for the XInput controller for the first time.

This new and improved Guild Wars experience goes beyond controller input options.This update will also improve in-game functionality in the following ways:
